1. About these terms
1.1 These Rewards Terms form part of the Mosaic Platform Services Agreement (the “Agreement”) between your business and Mosaic Technologies, which operates the Mosaic platform (“Mosaic”, “we”). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Agreement. If these terms conflict with the Agreement, the Agreement controls.
2. Balance rewards
2.1 We may pay your business cash rewards on the eligible balance of the Platform Stablecoin held in your Account (“Balance Rewards”), at the rate for your plan and balance tier shown in the Platform. Rates are variable, are shown as an annual percentage, and may be offered as “up to” a stated rate.
2.2 Balance Rewards accrue daily on your eligible end of day balance and are credited to your Account in the Platform Stablecoin monthly in arrears, unless the Platform states otherwise.
3. Activity rewards
3.1 We may also offer cashback on Card spend, rebates on payments or conversions, fee credits, and onboarding or referral bonuses (“Activity Rewards”), on the terms shown in the Platform. Card cashback is subject to the approval of the card program manager and the Card Terms.
4. What rewards are, and are not
4.1 Rewards are paid by Mosaic from its own resources. They are not paid by the issuer of the Platform Stablecoin, by any bank or by any other Third-Party Provider.
4.2 Rewards are not interest. The Platform Stablecoin does not bear interest from its issuer, and no balance in your Account is a deposit with Mosaic or with any bank.
5. Our discretion
5.1 We make no promise to pay any reward. We may introduce, change, condition, suspend or end any reward, rate, tier or eligibility criterion at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Changes apply from the time they are shown in the Platform.
5.2 Your eligibility for rewards is at our discretion and may be revoked at any time, including if your Account is restricted, suspended or under review, or if you breach the Agreement.
6. Crediting, reversal and closure
6.1 Rewards have no cash value, and you have no claim to any reward, until we credit it to your Account.
6.2 We may reverse any reward credited in error or obtained through abuse, fraud, circumvention of these terms or breach of the Agreement.
6.3 Rewards accrued but not credited when your Account closes, or when a reward ends, are forfeited.
7. Taxes
7.1 Your business is responsible for any taxes on rewards. We may report rewards to tax authorities where required by law.
